ELIGIBILITY

1. The applicant must be a graduating Marshalltown High School senior who is an active member of the boys/girls MHS Varsity Soccer team.
2. The applicant must be a former MASC participant.
3. The applicant must attend a University, Junior College, Area School, Vocational School, Trade School or Technical School that is accredited by the state in which it resides. 

GUIDELINES

1. The applicant must be a senior in high school who will graduate no later than the end of the current school year.
2. Selection of the scholarship recipient will be made by the MHS Athletic Director and acting President of the MASC board. Scholarship winners will be announced at the presentation of the award at the MHS Senior Awards Night. 
3. The scholarship payment will be made directly to the recipient following proof of enrollment to the student's counselor. Proof of enrollment can include a copy of an acceptance letter, documentation including enrollment in classes, or a college ID.

PROCEDURE

1. Complete the information section on the application.
2. Attach a maximum one-page essay describing your experience with MASC and Marshalltown soccer and what life lessons it has taught you.
3. Return the completed application to the MHS Counseling Office by April 1.
